Ensuring Inclusive Quality Education

Education is one of our most important means of fighting poverty. It is especially important to give a second chance to girls who have dropped out of school, but also to others who are left out or oppressed, e.g. marginalised groups, ethnic minorities and people with disabilities.

You can carry knowledge with you everywhere.

Education builds abilities, skills and knowledge and also contributes to positive changes for the individual and society. Education provides a basis for economic development, knowledge about health and rights, as well as increased self-confidence and unity between people.

Everyone has the right to a good education.

Education is a basic human right, and is absolutely fundamental to lifting people out of poverty. Increased enrolment is of little value if quality of education is not sufficient to ensure transition and performance. For this reason, we work towards the UN's Sustainable Development Goal 4 to improve the quality of education.
