Whistleblower

Here you can report suspicion of corruption, bribe, other business crime, harassment of any kind or unacceptable behaviour. We encourage you to provide name in the report, but you have always the possibility to stay anonymous. Your report will always be treated confidentially.

Strømme Foundation does not tolerate any kind of corruption. We believe in transparency in our work, and that openness is important in the fight against corruption and other kinds of unethical behaviour.

All cases reported will be handled by a WB-control committee who will delegate the responsibility to the right persons. The committee comprises SF’s Financial controller (leader), an employee representative, a hr representative and a representative from the staff union Negotia.

SF will assess the allegation(s) and consider whether to launch an investigation. The whistle blower will be informed within two weeks whether an investigation will be launched.

All cases are handled strictly confidentially, however the person/organisation accused has the right to be informed about the allegations.

No retaliation will be taken against any person reporting suspected violations while acting in good faith. Supervisors or other employees who retaliate against whistle blowers are subjected to disciplinary action, which may include termination.

Similarly, the whistle blower is responsible for his/her own actions and anyone making deliberately false reports will also face disciplinary action
