Development and Rehabilitation of the Economy of the poor through Alternative Means (DREAM)
Dream aims to facilitate the rural poor in shifting their mind-set and attitude from dependency to self-help .
This is done by by building up their community-level institutional structures, which will facilitate united and collective efforts in shaping up their own development.
The main target group of DREAM are the most marginalized families in the remote programme locations of our intervention countries.
It specifically targets Children, Adolescents and Women with a focus on children’s right to education, protection and early childhood development, and adolescent empowerment which includes skill development (including vocational training) and reproductive health.
The DREAM programme was recently completed in Myanmar, and was earlier implemented in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal, where it successfully progressed to the next stage, which is the SEEDS programme.
